1. DISCLAIMER
This software is a BETA release. Please be aware that it might contain bugs. We will be releasing periodic updates. Please read this file completely before using the Internet Assistant.
2. INSTALLATION
The Schedule+ Internet Assistant can be installed on a machine running Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0 Beta 2 (Intel version only). Before installing, make sure that Schedule+ is not running.
To install, simply download and run SCHIA.EXE. The installation process is automatic and does not require any user input.
To uninstall, bring up the Control Panel, then double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon. Select the Microsoft Schedule+ Internet Assistant item and click the Add/Remove button.
3. HOW TO USE
In Schedule+, choose "Internet Assistant..." from the File menu to bring up the Internet Assistant dialog. In this dialog, you can elect to publish either your free/busy times, or the complete details of your appointments.
The "Preview HTML" button will output HTML (to a file called "schedule.htm") based on the current settings and attempt to bring up a Web Browser to view the file. Preview HTML will not work if there is no Web Browser installed on your machine.
The "Save as HTML" button will allow you to save the output HTML based on the current settings to any file you select.
The "Post to Web" button will allow you to post the output HTML file (called "schedule.htm") to a Web server. However, this capability is not currently available. We will be uploading a new version of the Internet Assistant with the web posting capability soon.
4. CHANGES FROM BETA 1
- Installs on NT 4.0 Beta 2
- Installs correctly for French and German versions of Schedule+
- Uninstalls via the Control Panel
- Exports currently selected schedule, rather than always exporting the logged-in user's schedule
